Linking a wallet

Your FundrBot profile is your wallet. You link it with /link <pubkey> from Telegram or Discord. Linking is unsigned: you only send the public address. Never send a private key or seed phrase to anyone, including this bot.

One profile per wallet

  • Each wallet is one profile.
  • A wallet can have at most one Telegram account and one Discord account linked at a time.
  • Calls from either linked account count toward the same profile, and payouts go to the wallet.
  • A wallet that already belongs to another profile can't be linked. Program addresses (anything that isn't a normal wallet) are rejected too, because payouts sent there could never be spent, and so are FundrBot's own wallets.

Adding your other app (one-time code)

Your wallet address is public, so a second account can only join your profile with a code from the account that is already linked:

  1. From the linked account, send /link <your wallet>. On Discord the reply is visible only to you; on Telegram, send it in a private chat with the bot. The reply has a one-time code.
  2. From the other account, send /link <your wallet> <code>. On Telegram, only in a private chat with the bot.
  • A code works once and expires after 10 minutes. Asking for a new one replaces the old one.
  • A code typed into a Telegram group, or sent back from the account that got it, is cancelled straight away, because others may have seen it. Get a new one.
  • Your linked account gets a DM whenever another account joins your profile. If it wasn't you, tell an admin.
  • Never share a code. Nobody from FundrBot will ever ask you for one.

Linking starts your validation

Your first /link starts your free 7-day validation straight away. If this wallet or account already used its free attempt, the link still works but no new window starts: send /retry (see Retries & fees).

Changing your wallet

Run /link again with a new address. If both Telegram and Discord are linked, the change needs a one-time code from your other account, the same way as above: get it there with /link <current wallet>, then send /link <new wallet> <code> (on Telegram, in a private chat with the bot). Your history (validation results, free attempt usage, stats) stays with you. Every linked account gets a DM about the change. As a safety measure, payouts are paused for 24 hours after a wallet change, so a hijacked account cannot redirect money instantly.

Account age requirement

Your Telegram or Discord account must be at least 30 days old to make calls. Discord account age comes straight from your account ID. Telegram does not publish account age, so the bot estimates it from your user ID (IDs are issued in increasing order over time). Very new accounts are rejected.
